Falkon Tickets is an event access-control system operated by SMS ONE (U) LTD ("we", "us"). It pairs NFC wristbands with a hand-held gate scanner app and an administrator dashboard. This policy explains what data we process, why, how long we keep it, and how you can delete your account.

Who uses the app

The gate scanner app is used by event staff — gate operators, security officers, supervisors and administrators. Accounts are issued by an event administrator. The app does not create accounts for members of the public.

What we collect

Account data — your name, username, email, role, and a securely hashed password. Supervisors also have a hashed override PIN. The app additionally stores, only on your device, a hashed quick-login PIN.
Operational data — each wristband scan you perform: the wristband's NFC identifier, the ticket, gate, movement (entry/exit), the outcome, a device label, and the timestamp.
Device data — a generated device label used in the audit trail. We do not collect advertising identifiers.

How we use it

To authenticate you and authorise access to the gate app and, for staff roles, the admin dashboard.
To validate wristbands at the gate and prevent duplicate or fraudulent entry.
To produce live attendance figures and per-gate / per-operator reports for the event organiser.
To keep a security audit trail of access decisions and supervisor overrides.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Operational scan data is available to the organiser of the event you are working. We use hosting and infrastructure providers to run the service; they process data on our behalf under contract. We may disclose data where required by law.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Scan and audit records are retained for the event organiser's operational and legal needs. When you delete your account, your personal details are erased and any retained audit records are anonymised so they can no longer be linked to you (see below).

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time:

In the app — open Profile → Delete account and confirm.
By email — write to support@falkontickets.com from your account email and we will delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted: your name, username, email, password and any stored PINs. Your login is disabled immediately. What is retained: access-control and audit records required for the event organiser's security and legal obligations, with all identifiers pointing to your account removed so the records can no longer identify you.

Security

Passwords and PINs are stored only as salted hashes. The quick-login PIN never leaves your device. Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us using the details below.
